You can easily get tricked by the lures of the alkaline water scam when health practitioners are frequently telling us that we should have an 80/20 mix of alkaline and acidic foods in our diet.

In fact, if you want to drink water that is alkaline, turn on your tap at home and pour yourself a glass. Chances are you already have alkaline water flowing from your taps because many states in the US enjoy a water supply that has a high pH level.
Essentially, this is exactly the same type of H2O that the alkaline water scam is getting you to buy, often for a premium!
Tap water with a high pH level doesn’t have these antioxidants. But neither does water that has been subjected to alkaline water drops. These drops basically add minerals to the water that boost water’s pH level. They don’t add antioxidants. Mineral water is a no-go too as far from having the same healing properties of natural spring water, bottled water is actually acidic because it has been through a filtration process that lowers its oxygen and mineral content.
