From Waterfyi.com: Ionizersreviewed.com Review

2010-04-05 08:28:47

Waterfyi is doing a good service in exposing the fake water ionizer review sites on the internet.  However, they are way too soft on ionizersreviewed.com.  This site is owned by Tyent USA and has been used to promote the Tyent brand above all other through lies and manipulations.  They are not independent.  They only want you to buy Tyent.  And now, they've given the ionQuench 8080 a top rating.  Why? Because they sell that too!!  Not for long, since we now have the exclusive contract on that product.  But don't waste your time reading anything from this site.  It's pure trash.

It's a dishonest website from a dishonest company.

From waterfyi.com

It came to my attention today that one of the water ionizer review sites ”ionizersreviewed.com” has chosen a second line of water ionizers  for their ”best value” catagory.   This represents a major step in the right direction for a review site.  The widely promoted website has provided reviews of various water ionizers for the past couple of years.  The site has always claimed to provide independent advice and testing of different brands, but on closer inspection, the site has never been independent at all.  It has always favoured one specific brand.   Of course, other companies caught on to the game and created their own ”independent” sites that also direct you to the brand that they want you to choose.   It is all part of a sophisticated and very effective marketing effort.

All of the review sites use the Enagic SD501 as their whipping boy in an effort to make their product look like the obvious machine of choice.  While they admit that the SD501 is a good machine, which it is, they all point out that the Enagic machine is double the price of their machines because of their Multi Level Marketing payout structure, which is true.  The various companies attack Enagic in an attempt to steal market share from Enagic, which is an organization that has been almost solely responsible for building awareness of the incredible benefits of ionized water.  It would be nice if the other companies focused on building awareness of the water instead of trying to steal from the efforts of others.

Just when you think you have heard enough, it gets worse.   While all the companies that operate the review sites appear to be at war with each other, you will soon discover they all seem to work together in that they only compare their products with the products of the other review sites.  As a result, anyone that spends time on the internet searching for water ionizers comes away with the clear impression that there are basically only three companies to choose from (unless you are willing to pay double the money for an Enagic machine so that you can sell the overpriced units to family and friends).   The truth of the matter is that there are hundreds of different brands available in the world to choose from, of which several have built solid track records that make them worthy contenders.   The problem is that the public never gets to know the names of the other good companies, because they haven’t built a sophisticated marketing system in North America yet, and they are not part of the “club”.

Now comes the interesting new twist from ”ionizersreviewed.com”  The site features a “best of the best” catagory that predictably features the same product that it has featured for years.  However,  the new “best value” catagory features a differnt brand altogether, which is a refreshing development.  The site has declared the IonQuench 8080, which is made by the highly respected EOS manufacturing company in Korea, as a fantastic machine that represents the best value in the industry.  EOS has been producing great machines for years for a company called KYK.  Unfortunately, KYK has never been able to break into the ”club”, so it carved its niche in the industry by selling its products for significantly less money than the leading players in the industry.  The fact that the IonQuench 8080 is virtually identical to the KYK Genesis 30000 other than a different face plate is not important.  What is important is that a well respected manufacturer and one of its excellent machines is now getting recognized after fighting a long uphill battle for years.

I don’t know who is responsible for changing the philosophy at ionizersreviewed, but it is a very positive development.  The website appears to finally be moving towards actually being independent, which is good news for consumers.  We all benefit from learning about another quality company.  Hopefully, the price of the unit will not increase with its new found recognition.  Introductory sale prices never last long, but even the advertised retail price is a move in the rigth direction towards lower prices.  Good work ionizersreviewed.com
