Fight Acid-Producing Foods with Alkaline Ionized Water

Fall time comes many temptations to eat that are acid-producing foods. Be sure to have a bottle of ionized alkaline water on hand to help balance everything out.
Acid-producing Foods are all over our menu. They are carbohydrates such as bread, tortillas, biscuits, donuts, cupcakes and pie crusts. They are also oils such as olive oil, vegetable oil, coconut oil, and all the other oils that we like to moisten and fry our food in.
Acid-producing foods are also most alcoholic beverages including beer, whiskey, Tanqueray, and even wine and port. They are also the meats we consume including turkey, beef, pork, and even meat substitutes such as tofu and wheat gluten.
Balance Out Acid-Producing Foods this Fall
Our lives are very busy this time of year with back to school events, Fall sports, music classes and other after-school activities, and fall festivals and parties. It’s tempting to just grab a quick meal but those quick meals are usually full of acid-producing Foods.
For example, if you get a hamburger combo at your local fast food restaurant, virtually everything you are eating is acid-producing. The bread, meat, cheese, soda, and fries are all acid-producing foods. But with all the fun going on, we don’t want to feel lousy this time of year. So the best solution is to combat the acid-producing foods with alkaline foods and also alkaline ionized water.
The Fall brings us some great alkaline foods in the form of melons, berries and roots. So enjoy plenty of watermelon, cantaloupe , blueberries, zucchini, yellow squash. Also, think about substituting bad choices with good ones. For example, instead of using pasta, why not get some spaghetti squash and use that for your pasta? Instead of drinking soda, why not blend a smoothie of your favorite fall produce?
If you get super busy and just can’t get some fresh berries, melons and roots into your meal, at least wash it all down with alkaline ionized water. The alkalinity in the water will neutralize a lot of the acid in your meal. The antioxidants in ionized water will help your body detoxify from the toxins and preservatives and other junk that is in the meal you’re eating.

Go to work and send your kids to school with a bottle of ionized water. Give it to your kids for their soccer practice, music classes, or anything else they are doing after school. Bring it with you too any meeting you are going to and even keep a bottle or two in the car. Even if it’s warm, it is still ionized alkaline water. Ionized water lasts up to 3 days. So keep some bottles full and around so you and your kids can get to them.
You really should try to drink 8 ounces of water every single hour and if you drink alkaline ionized water, you will be fighting the acid-producing foods in your diet, helping your body stay clean and detoxify, and you won’t have to worry about feeling sluggish or not sleeping well. So be healthy, eat alkaline foods and bring alkaline ionized water everywhere you go.
