WFL Affiliate Backoffice Instructions

Congratulations on becomming a WFL affiliate!

You probably have questions on how to use your backoffice so we created this step by step guide.  We've also included a section on the registration process in case any of your new sign ups have questions.

Registration Process (http://waterforlifeusa.com/users/user_action:register):

#1: Username. First you will be asked to first create a username.  This is any combination of letters and numbers you choose to identify your account, for example "bobswater".  Write what you create down for future reference because you will need this to log into your account. 

#2: Email. You are asked to enter your email address. Gmail accounts are better than Hotmail and Yahoo because they will sometimes block the email announcements we send out to all affiliates, and you need those because sometimes we have sales, new products, and new features to tell you about.  

#3: Password. Please create a password for your account.  Again, you should write this down for future reference because you will need it to log into your account.

#4: Name. Enter your first and last name.

#5: Country.  Choose the "United States" from the country list.

#6: City, Address, Zip.  Enter your city, street address where you want your commission checks mailed, and your zip code.

#7: Order number. Enter the order number from your WFL water ionizer purchase.  You have to purchase a WFL water ionizer in order to become an affiliate, otherwise you won't be able to answer your customer's questions about WFL water ionizers well. 

#8: Secure text. Just type the text you see in the box to the right of this field.  Be sure to pay attention to whether the letter is capitalized. This is a security measure in place to stop computers from signing up as affiliates and flooding our server. 

#9: Referring Affiliate. If another affiliate has referred you to the WFL affiliate program, please enter their username in this box. 

#10: WFL Policies.  Please click on the link to the WFL affiliate policies so that you are aware of them.  Then click on the box to indicate that you have read them. 

#11: Register.  Click on the "register" button. 

You are now all signed up!  

The next step is to click on the link to login to your new affiliate account:

Just enter the username and password that you just created.

Backoffice Instructions:

#1:  User menu. Look to your right to see your "user menu."

#2: Launch your site.  Click on the button called "launch your site."  This will create your affiliate website in the format of "username.waterforlifeusa.com." 

       2a) Affiliate Homepage.   Your affiliate homepage comes with a snazzy banner, the WFL impact movie (http://waterforlifeusa.com/how-to-use-your-free-wfl-impact-movie), and some relevant facts about water and ionized water.  Take a moment to watch the impact movie, it is very educational and you should use it in your advertising.

      2b) Affiliate Sign up.  Notice on the top left of your homepage there is a link to sign up as an affiliate.  This is for people who want to sign up as an affiliate in your downline (remember we are a three tier program, http://waterforlifeusa.com/affiliate-program-free-genesis). 

      2c) Affiliate Site Navigation:  At the top of the homepage you will see links to: Products, Testimonials, About Us, Creating Body Balance, Contact Us, and Shopping Cart.  

                 Products:  This link will take your potential customers to all the products that WFL sells.  You will earn commission on anything someone buys from your site (paid on the 7th of each month).

                 Testimonials: This link will take your customers to the WFL testimonial section featuring videos and quotes from doctors and satisified customers.  

                 About us:  Here you can enter a description of your business. For instructions, see below.

                 Creating Body Balance:  This is an article WFL President Alderin Ordell wrote about balancing body chemistry.  A good read.

                 Contact us:  This is a form that your customer's can fill out that will email directly to your email account.

                 Shopping cart: This displays items in your customer's shopping cart.

IMPORTANT: Don't worry about your potential customers clicking over to the WFL main site.  As soon as they visit your affiliate site, a cookie is placed on their computer that will track them.  So if they purchase, whether it's from our site or from your affiliate site, it will still track to your affiliate account and you will get paid!   

Now, navigate back to your user menu.

#3: Affiliate Panel.  Click on "launch affiliate panel." This will take you to your backoffice where all your stats on sales and affiliates are kept.  The first page shows all the products that are available for your customers to purchase and which products have been bought from you.  We are only concerned with the "per sale" statistics.  The statistics on the right about "per click" don't apply because our program does not pay for clicks to your site.  We only pay for sales that you make.  

     3a)  Affiliate Tier Tree.  Clicking on this will show all the affiliates that have signed up below you.   

     3b) Your Activity.  This shows a week by week analysis of your sales and the commission you have earned.  The first page is a snapshot of your overall activity.  Click on "detailed statistics" to see a breakdown of each sale you made and the order number for that sale.  Next you can click on "traffic" to see how many people have visited your site.  Finally, you can click on "payouts" to see what commissions have been paid out to you.

     3c) Banner Linking Code. If you or your company has another website, you can use the text links and banners from this section to advertise on that site.  So, if you create a text ad for the Genesis Platinum and place that on your other site, when someone clicks on that text ad, they will be taken to the Genesis Platinum product page and if they purchase, your affiliate account will be credited.  This, essentially, gives you the power to transform any of your existing websites to extensions of your affiliate website.  Pretty cool, huh?

    3d) Payment Details. Here you can update your payment details in case anything ever changes.  You can also click on "personal details" to change your username, password, or any other details in your affiliate account. 

Now, navigate back to your user menu.

#4: Edit Profile.  Here you can change any of your account details.  You can also edit your affiliate site!  You can upload a small photo of yourself that will be displayed at the top left part of your affiliate homepage.  Next, you can fill in details in the "about me" section, which will update your "about us" page in your affiliate website.  Next, you can update your contact information, which will be displayed in your affiliate site.  Finally, you can enter your own homepage text to replace the text that is currently there. 

Important:  Each of these sections are controlled by a "what you see is what you get editor" so feel free to enter any images, text, banners, logos, etc. that you want to truly make your affiliate website yours. 

Now, navigate back to your user menu.

#5: Affiliate News and Training.  Click on "affiliate news" to read some articles about how to better run your business and market online! 

That's it!  You are now ready to promote your new affiliate site and spread the message of the benefits of ionized water to the world.  We hope this new site will make it easier for you to educate potential customers and convert sales so that you can make a living making a difference in the world.
