Programming the Genesis Platinum Water Ionizer

This video provides simple programming instructions for how to adjust ionization, sound, display, and other options with the Genesis Platinum. We program each Genesis Platinum that we ship to each customer's water source, based on the mineral content, so each Genesis Platinum is already set to provide you optimal ionization results. You don't need to adjust the ionization of your Genesis Platinum, this is just for your information.

Here is a quick reference guide:

If you live in hard water areas or minerally deficient water areas (Southern California, Texas, etc.), along with possibly needing prefilters, your Genesis Platinum should be set to its highest setting - 8.0, then all of the individual alkaline and ORP levels set to their highest levels.

If you live in average water areas (Maryland, Virginia, Oregon), the ideal setting is 7.5 with all of the individual alkaline and ORP levels set to their highest.

if you live in premium water areas (like Hawaii, North Carolina), the ideal setting is 7.0 with all of the individual alkaline and ORP levels set to their highest.

These recommendations will make your Genesis Platinum hit its pH and ORP targets the best.
