Tap Water, Bottled Water, Ionized Water
Did you know that people can survive about 6 weeks without food and only 7 days without water? Water is most fundamental to our body. It is the source of our life. The human body contains about 70% of water, so you need to make sure you drink the healthiest water. But bottled water and tap water are not healthy to drink. Only ionized water from a water ionizer gives your body what it truly needs.
Just search online for your local municipal water report and you’ll be floored at the contaminants that are in tap water. Radioactive elements, left over pharmaceutical drugs, nitrates and nitrites from farming, fluoride, chloramine (chlorine and ammonia), chlorine, heavy metals like arsenic, bacteria, and more.
Many of these chemicals are added to preserve and clean the county pipes because they are expensive to maintain. The health department sets acceptable levels for these chemicals and off it goes to your faucet for you to drink.
But these acceptable levels still can cause problems with your health. Even trace amounts of arsenic and chloramine could cause cancer. Fluoride is a hardening agent and your brain doesn’t like to be hardened. And nothing that leaches into our drinking water from a farm is good for us to drink. So, if you do drink tap water, you may reconsider. Your health is not the top priority of a municipal water company.
Bottled water costs hundreds of times more than tap. But is it worth it?
Most people drink a combination of bottled water and tap water. About 20% of consumers say that they drink only bottled water. In fact, bottled water is very often filtered tap water. Bottled water drinkers think that bottled water is safer than tap water. Is it really true?
Bottled water and tap water are regulated differently. Bottled water is considered to be a food product and, therefore, it is tested less frequently for chemical contaminants and bacteria. Bottled water regulations are less strict. This type of water does not have to be tested for asbestos, E. coli, Giardia, and cryptosporidium. Some brands of bottled water should be avoided because they contain the traces of arsenic that is known to be a cancer-causing chemical.
For these reasons, you cannot count on bottled water being safer than tap water.
There are different types of bottled water. Some people do not understand the difference between bottled mineral water, purified water and spring water. Mineral water comes from a protected underground water source. It contains trace minerals and no other minerals can be added to this water. Purified water is the type of water created by distillation or reverse osmosis. Spring water comes from an underground source. It flows naturally to the surface of the Earth.
Mineral water and spring water are the best bottled waters to drink. The natural alkaline minerals ensure that the water your drink isn’t acidic. Distilled water or reverse osmosis water is stripped of all of these natural minerals and this filtration process makes the water your drink acidic and damaging to your body.
The biggest issue with buying any bottled water is that it doesn’t store well. Even if water is bottled from a pristine source, a few days later that water will become stagnant meaning all the natural ions and antioxidants in the water have fizzled out. Stagnant water, especially if it is acidic and the bottle is exposed to heat, will break down the soft plastic bottled and release chemicals into your drinking water like BPA and BPB, which both are linked to cancer.
So, besides being expensive, bottled water isn’t guaranteed to be as safe as tap water and not worth your investment.
Did you know that you can get the best drinking water for only about 3 cents a liter? With ionized from a water ionizer, water is filtered to 99.99% purity, removing any dangerous contaminants, and the water is full of alkaline minerals and antioxidants, just like water you’d find naturally in a spring or glacial stream.
There aren’t any soft plastic bottled to break down or dangerous detergents added to it. Also, because of the antioxidants, ionized water can neutralize toxins that have accumulated in your body and improve your health significantly.
So, ionized water from a water ionizer is inexpensive when compared to bottled water and a whole lot safer than tap or bottled water. Best of all, a water ionizer installs easily to your kitchen faucet and is easy to use, so your whole family can get this premium drinking water conveniently.
To your health,
