Your water ionizers are very very interesting.
I have the following inquiries :
1. How can alkaline water alkalize our bodies when our stomach acids are so acidic?
2. Can any of your ionizers be reset to have low ORP ( say below -600mV ) at low alkalinity ( pH7.5 – 8 ) ?
3. In areas of very hard water, will the electrodes be still maintenance-free and self cleaning ? As for EOS DNA model, how often does self cleaning take place?
4. Which is produced more in ionized water – hydrogen or oxygen?
5. Sophistication aside, does EOS DNA produce higher quality water compared to other EOS models?

Thanks for the questions.
1) When your stomach digests alkaline foods and drinks, it produces bicarbonates in our blood which alkalize our body. http://www.sangwhang.org/?p=247 . Because of this, our body loves alkaline foods, like fruits, vegetables, teas and alkaline ionized water. They will actually slow the aging process, reduce oxidative stress in our cells, and more.
2) Alkalinity and -ORP are strongly correlated when water is electrolyzed (ionized). So, you can’t increase the -ORP to -600 without increasing the alkalinity higher that 7.5 or 8. You don’t want to drink -600 ORP water, either. The -ORP of the most natural waters in the world, like in Lourdes, France, is -350. EOS water ionizers are set to -350 on the drinking water stage. Stronger than that is not natural and your body won’t utilize it as well and you’ll just urinate a lot.
3) In areas of very hard water you will need at the very least a scale inhibitor, which is $17, to grab the scale out of the water and protect the water lines and plates inside your water ionizer from getting clogged up with scale. If the water is above 13 grains of hardness, you should get a reverse osmosis system to use as a prefliter. The cleaning cycle on EOS models only runs when it detects the plates are dirty. If you water isn’t too hard or too contaminated, you may never see a cleaning cycle.
4) Oxygen is not produced in ionized water. Hydroxyl ions are produced, which hydrogen plus an extra ion combined. The hydroxyl ion lends it’s extra ion to an unstable oxygen molecule in your cells called a free radical, which stabilizes the free radical and turns it into oxygen, which your body absorbs and utilizes for energy. So, you get a lot of oxygen from drinking ionized water but not because there is extra oxygen in the water.

2. My wife has cancer. Would alkaline water with ORP lower than -350mV be better for her as some water ionizer sellers advocate gradual intake of increased akalinity of water?
People don’t get health benefits from reverse osmosis water. RO water was created for lab environments to keep instruments free from contamination when cleaned with water. It is stripped of all minerals, oxygen, antioxidants and what’s left is just pure, stagnant, dead water. It has a pH of about 5.5, several thousand times more acidic than your own blood pH (7.33) as a pH scale is exponential like a richter scale. Drinking RO or distilled water causes oxidative stress in your cells, an accumulation of free radicals, which damages them over time. Plus, it lowers your body’s natural pH level and has no oxygen, trace minerals, or hyrdroxyl ions to improve your health.
Many of our customers with cancer drink a stronger -ORP because their intent is to lower the oxidative stress levels in their cells, which the cancer feeds on. Some drink a 10 pH -450 ORP and higher. But everyone’s body chemistry is unique so your wife should consult with a knowledgable homepathic doctor.
