It is hot outside and all that heat puts extra stress on our bodies. We are thirsty. We want to replenish our bodies and feel better. But don’t reach for the sports drink! Ionized water is a much better choice.
Despite the commercials that show elite athletes drinking sports drinks, the truth is they are just not very good for us. The two big problems is that they are acidic and they have lots of sugar. Sports drinks also have chemicals in them that are not good for us. They have preservatives, artificial flavors, artificial colors. Plus the plastic bottles that they are stored in are soft plastic that can leach BPA and BPB into your drink, both of which are carcinogenic.

Ionized water is a better choice. Ionized water is alkaline which will reduce acid in our bodies. Finally, ionized water is full of antioxidants that help detoxify our bodies.
