At number five we have the Tyent UCE 11. This is a powerful 11 plate water ionizer with a good filtration system. It produces a wide pH range and creates delicious ionized water.
The reason why it doesn’t rank higher is because it has a shocking $3,500 price tag. In our opinion, no water ionizer should ever be that expensive. The other issue with this water ionizer is the design of its faucet. The tubular stainless steel arms are funky to look at. $3,500 is a lot of money to pay for a water ionizer faucet that looks strange in your kitchen.
The final issue that we have is with the company itself. Tyent USA is constantly deceptive in its marketing. For example, the create fake water ionizer review websites where it ranks their products higher than their competitors. It’s fine to review other water ionizers but the issue is they don’t disclose who they are when they do so. They pretend to be third-party unbiased professionals. Recently, we have caught them running a website called Optimain Institute. It ranked undersink water ionizers and of course ranked Tyent as the best. This site pretends to be run by experts but it’s actually run by Tyent. These deceptive marketing practices are a huge red flag for anyone considering purchasing from this company.
At number four we have the Life Ionizer MX11. We like this undersink water ionizer because it has a beautifully designed faucet. It also has simple to use controls and tons of power. This water ionizer will easily power through hard water. It comes in 11, 13, and 15 plate options. But you might be shocked to find out that the lowest cost option is $3,500 and the price goes up from there! Again, this is way too much money for any water ionizer. Platinum titanium plates are simply not that expensive to manufacture.
The other issue that we have with Life Ionizers is that they have 26 complaints filed against them registered with the Better Business Bureau over the last 3 years. That is a lot of unhappy customers! If you take care of your customers, they won’t need to go to the Better Business Bureau to complain.
At number three we have the Alkaviva Delphi H2. This is another beautifully designed undersink water ionizer. It’s faucet is very attractive. It has nine plates but don’t let that fool you. Nine plates is more than enough power to ionize water if the electrical system is calibrated correctly. In the case of this model, it is. The Delphi’s ionization is on par with 11 plate and higher models. The price of this water ionizer is also more reasonable at $3,195. Alka Viva is also a much more respected company. This is a good choice for under sink water ionizers except that $3,195 is still an awful lot of money to pay!
The second best under sink water ionizer that we reviewed is the EOS Revelation 2. The Revelation 2 has been out for a few years and has a proven track record. Thousands of customers have purchased this model and have a high degree of satisfaction! It is a nine-plate water ionizer with an exceptional filtration system. It’s electrical system is switch-mode power supply (SMPS), which is the most efficient water ionizer power system that you can use. It creates a wide range of pH and tons of antioxidants in your drinking water. The Revelation 2 is also offered at the amazing price of only $2,195!
The bottom line is the Revelation 2 performs as well as water ionizers that are $1,000 more expensive. It’s main drawback is the faucet is a bit on the smaller side. This might work for customers looking for a smaller footprint in their kitchen. But the shorter arms make it difficult to fill up a pot and that’s the reason it’s number two on our list of top 5 undersink water ionizers.
The best undersink water ionizer is the IonPlus water ionizer. The IonPlus smart faucet is the best on the market. It is fully stainless steel with long arms that swivel the width of your sink, making it very easy to use. The IonPlus was designed by Samsung and the quality shows. The controls are super simple to use. It’s filter is also a double-wide single filter instead of two separate filters. This offers all the stages of filtration that you need to get your water tap water clean without the expense of replacing two filters. An IonPlus filter is only $85 to replace versus $119 or more for dual filter replacement sets. The IonPlus single filter design also makes the base of the IonPlus smaller, which means it can fit under your sink easier.
The IonPlus filter also offers ion exchange media that removes fluoride and heavy metals from your water. This is critical because US tap water is largely contaminated with fluoride and many places in the Southern US have issues with heavy metals. With other water ionizers, you have to buy a separate pre-filter to deal with these issues.
Drawbacks? There aren’t many but the Ionplus doesn’t have as much power as an 11 plate water ionizer, which means you lose a little bit achieving extreme pH levels. However, the IonPlus creates the same pH drinking water with just as many antioxidants as any other water ionizer. So, for health reasons, you are not losing anything.
What you’re gaining with the IonPlus is premium quality ionized water, the best faucet design, and a price tag of only $2,495. All of these reasons make the IonPlus the top undersink water ionizer in today’s crowded marketplace. Yes, we are biased. But our list of the top 5 undersink water ionizers is accurate. We have 15 years as the top US water ionizer distributor, so we know what we’re talking about!
