Back in the 2000s, it seemed everyone was working out and eating healthy. Gym memberships were common, and people shared healthy recipes, attended hiking groups and other outdoor activities, and had a solid health plan they were following. We sold a ton of water ionizers back then! Over three million dollars worth in 2009. But, since then, people’s priorities in life have shifted away from their health.
Have you noticed that more and more people are running around in their pajamas or leisurewear and carrying a few extra pounds in public? This trend has gotten worse after COVID. There seems to be a collective depression or anxiety that has resulted in many Americans giving up or not prioritizing their health and well-being, and it reflects on how they present themselves.
That has to change. We have to find our self-pride again. Being overweight is linked to a barrage of diseases and illnesses, especially as we get older, like heart problems, diabetes, cancer, and more. Do you really want to end your life like that?
The way people have clambered toward Ozempic has demonstrated that people care about being in shape. However, Oprah and many others will tell you that Ozempic is not the answer. All it takes is a trip to the emergency room with an intestinal blockage to know that! Forcing your body into constipation so you don’t eat as much is not the answer!
We need to get back to basics. Being healthy is not an enigma. It is a process that begins with having a reliable sleep schedule. You should get between 7 and 7.5 hours of sleep each night as an adult. It helps to go to bed and wake up at the same time. This teaches your body to be on a routine, and it learns to sleep deeply and rest restoratively.
The next step is to hydrate with alkaline antioxidant water throughout the day. Drinking acidic and contaminated water in the morning will make you feel sluggish because the acidity interferes with cellular energy exchange, and your body has to process the toxins. Conversely, drinking a large glass of alkaline ionized water will hydrate you three times more effectively and detoxify your body so it’s ready for your day.
For your meals, avoid anything that’s processed. This means avoiding anything that’s been broken down and reformed into something else. Besides being full of binders and other chemicals, processed food is absorbed quicker by your body, leading to overeating and poor nutrition. Instead, eat natural foods like whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.
When it comes to meat, there is plenty of protein in grains and legumes, so you don’t need to go out of your way to add meat to your diet. In fact, you’re burdening your body if you are eating huge chunks of animal meat. The meat will slow you down and make you feel sluggish, and the animal fat, also known as myocellular lipids, will block the energy transfer from your blood to your muscles. which is the main cause of diabetes.
The next most important thing is to exercise two to three times a day for 15 to 20 minutes each time. Studies have shown that shorter workouts done more frequently benefit your body more than one longer workout. This will keep your internal furnace burning all day, burning fat and providing energy.
Those are the basics of good health. If you can follow this plan consistently and share it with your friends, you might start the next health movement in this country. Let’s show a little pride in how we look and, while you’re at it, set some goals for some things you would like to achieve in the future. It’s not too late to start an important project you’ve been thinking about your whole life. Start with good health, including drinking alkaline ionized water, and amazing things will happen for you!
