I hate to open an article with such a chilling fact but it is estimated that around one in three of all humans will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime. A scary thought no doubt, but we hardly need reminding of the severity of the disease. It’s the world’s biggest killer.
We need not feel powerless in the face of these odds. There are things we can do to lower the risks and recent studies have shown that using a certain water for cancer treatment and prevention is one such thing. And this is all thanks to the power of antioxidants.
In order to understand how we can use antioxidant water for cancer treatment and prevention we need to first understand the system in our cells that establishes a natural balance between oxidizing and anti-oxidizing compounds.
Central to this natural balance are the antioxidants and free radicals we have inside our cells. We need the beneficial antioxidants because they neutralize free radicals which can cause cell damage that may lead to cancer.
So what exactly is a free radical? It is a highly reactive chemical that has the potential to harm cells in your body. They are created when an atom or a molecule (a chemical that has two or more atoms) either gains or loses an electron (a small negatively charged particle found in atoms). Free radicals are actually formed naturally in the body and play an important role in many normal cellular processes. But at high concentrations, however, free radicals can be hazardous to our health and damage all major components of cells, including proteins, cell membranes, and DNA. The damage to cells caused by free radicals, especially the damage to DNA, may play a role in the development of cancer and other health conditions. Free radicals that contain the element oxygen are the most common type of free radicals produced in living tissue. They are called “reactive oxygen species,” or “ROS”.
It would seem logical to try to boost intake of antioxidants to counter the effects of free radicals and ROS. But recent studies have shown that taking antioxidant pills may be failing to demonstrate any beneficial effect against cancer because they do not act at the critical site in cells where tumor-promoting ROS are produced: at cellular energy factories called mitochondria. Instead, supplements tend to accumulate at scattered distant sites in the cell, “leaving tumor-promoting ROS relatively unperturbed,” the researchers say. If only there were exogenous antioxidants that could infiltrate deep in cells to cause an effect where they are needed. Luckily, there are.
The best source of natural, exogenous antioxidants is heavily antioxidant water of the kind that is produced by a water ionizer machine. Ionized water is the best source of exogenous antioxidants because of its unique characteristics. Whilst studies have shown that antioxidant supplements and pills have little or no effect on cancer because they can’t effect the tumor-promoting ability of ROS, ionized water has a structure that allows it to do exactly that. Because this special type of water is micro-clustered in structure (at a molecular level, the structure of the water molecules are smaller and thus more easily penetrate cells), it has the potential to act at the site where damaging ROS are produced.
What is indisputable is that antioxidant-rich, micro-clustered ionized water is supremely hydrating for the human body because of its unique properties, and this makes it the ticket to better health that I would choose. This type of water for cancer treatment and prevention is certainly one bold step we can take to fight back against the world’s biggest killer.
