Several notable U.S. celebrities, musicians, and public figures have publicly endorsed or incorporated alkaline ionized water machines into their daily routines:
Beyoncé: Known for strict performance and touring prep, Beyoncé reportedly requires alkaline ionized water on tour to rapidly rehydrate cells and support metabolism.
Miranda Kerr: The model and wellness entrepreneur has frequently spoken in interviews about installing alkaline water ionizers in her home, emphasizing its role in maintaining skin health and reducing systemic acidity.
Anthony Anderson: The actor publicly shared that, because of his demanding filming schedule, he uses a portable countertop water ionizer that travels with him to maintain energy and proper hydration on set.
Debra Messing: The actress endorsed using an alkaline water ionizer, citing noticeable improvements in her daily energy levels and overall vitality.
Mark Wahlberg & Tom Brady: Both Wahlberg and Brady have been vocal advocates for alkaline ionized water to reduce joint inflammation, optimize cellular hydration, and speed up post-workout recovery.
Grace Potter: The musician installed a commercial-grade water ionizer directly onto her band’s tour bus, noting that the hydrogen-rich alkaline water helped the entire crew maintain endurance and avoid illness while traveling.
In recent years, the U.S. market averages over 1.1 million water ionizer units sold per year. Over the past decade and a half—driven by expanding direct-sales networks, wellness trends, and e-commerce—an estimated 8 million to 12 million units have sold in the U.S. across residential, commercial, and portable categories.
Form Factor Preferences: Countertop plug-and-play units account for roughly 42% to 64% of sales because they install quickly. Under-counter built-in models account for about 28%, while portable or pitcher-based systems make up the remainder.
Regional Concentration: Sales volume in the U.S. is heaviest in states with high wellness-focused demographics and direct-sales seller networks, primarily California, Texas, Florida, and New York.
